Despite being a huge space nerd, a few years back, I realized I knew little to nothing about female astronauts. Thinking I might not be alone in that, I decided to create a zine celebrating female astronauts and their accomplishments. I did everything from research, to creating the illustrations, to risograph printing, to cutting and binding each individual zine by hand, and learned a whole lot in the process.
