In the digital age, emojis are the universal language. And while there may seem to be an emoji for almost everything, there were no emojis representing love for interracial couples. So Tinder launched #RepresentLove to pressure Unicode Consortium (Fun fact: there’s an actual governing body that decides emojis) to incorporate interracial couple emojis.

In early 2019, their campaign was marked as a success as Unicode announced they would be adding said emojis. So to celebrate, we created a New York Times ad thanking the 50k+ people that helped make it happen.
